About
A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Alison! I’m a mum of three, a women’s and pelvic health physiotherapist, and someone who is incredibly passionate about helping women feel more confident and comfortable in their own bodies.
I’ve been a physiotherapist for over 17 years, and in that time I’ve had the privilege of supporting so many women through some of their most personal and challenging health experiences.
But my passion for women’s health goes well beyond the treatment room.
Having navigated my own journey with endometriosis, adenomyosis, multiple surgeries and persistent pain, I know firsthand how frustrating, exhausting and overwhelming it can feel when your body isn't doing what you want it to.
And I know how important it is to have someone who genuinely listens, understands and helps you make sense of what's happening.
I support women experiencing pelvic pain, painful intercourse, bladder and bowel concerns, pelvic floor dysfunction, and the physical changes that come with pregnancy, motherhood and beyond.
**My approach is simple.** I listen, I look at the bigger picture, and I believe in giving women practical, evidence-based strategies that actually fit into their everyday lives.
I'm not about overwhelming you with medical jargon or giving you another endless list of things you *should* be doing.
I want you to understand your body, feel heard, and know that you have options.
Because at the end of the day, my biggest passion is helping women feel empowered to take an active role in their health and start trusting their bodies again. 💜
